In addition to the vast portfolio of projects executed over the past twenty five years, a noticeable proud achievement most be highlighted, as Faisal Al Awadhi has personally had the honor of acting as Senior Advisor to HH the Chairman of Eastern Province Saudi Tourism Council. As part of the extended work, he developed a number of Eastern Province events designed to enrich and diversify the tourism calendar to include popular events based around sports, fashion and shopping.
The work including playing a strategic role in delivering: the Rally Al Sharqia, which was the first rally to ever happen in the eastern province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A leading Arab Beach Soccer Event, where he was personally responsible for working closely with the mayor of the eastern province of Saudi Arabia, resulting in the successful planning and execution of the first ever summer shopping festival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, known as the Sharqia shopping festival. And also the World Water Polo Championship, 2011 was a major highlight. This was all part of a wider nationwide initiative to open Saudi Arabia up as a destination not just for foreign investment, but as a family tourist attraction and go-to destination.
